In April 2017, Bill Ford chose his visit to University College Cork to announce that Ford would be sponsoring the colleges Quercus scholarship for the next five years.

Henry Ford & Son Ltd. are delighted to back emerging Irish talent in this way as part of our commitment to investing in the future. The Quercus scholarship for talented students promotes excellence in academia, sport, creative and performing arts, active citizenship and innovation/entrepreneurship.

Henry Ford & Son Ltd. will be promoting the course among students and teachers as well as providing practical help so that UCC’s academic staff can continue the incredible work already being done to support these gifted scholars.
