Parking sensors

Parking distance sensors help you judge the distance between your vehicle and obstacles behind you. When the sensors detect an object, they activate an audible warning that intensifies the closer you get to it.

Sensible and secure storage

Like every good workplace, your van is packed with smart storage. The deep centre console includes space for A4 files, so they’re always to hand. For added security, an underseat compartment holds a laptop safely out of view. Even the front door panels make great use of space including a 1.5 litre and 20 oz. bottle holder in each door, as well as a useful coin holder on the passenger side.

Automatic headlights

The Transit Courier has sensors that detect failing light at dusk, or when there’s a sudden change in light conditions. For example, if you enter a tunnel. This triggers the auto-headlights to turn themselves on, which can make driving both easier and safer. Auto-headlights are available as an option with rain-sensing wipers.

Extra control during hill starts

Hill Start Assist temporarily stops you rolling backwards or forwards when making a hill start. The system works by maintaining pressure to the braking system for an extra 2.5 seconds, giving you more time and control as you move your foot from brake pedal to accelerator. It’s also useful when you’re stopping and starting on slippery surfaces

Folding mesh bulkhead

A folding mesh bulkhead not only allows you to carry loads up to 2.59m long, it helps protect the driver from those loads as they sit on top of the folded passenger seat. The feature is available on Van models and includes the fold and dive front passenger seat.

Keep your cargo secure

Side-wall mounted tie-down points help keep the load floor clear and are both DIN and ISO compliant. There are also body side fixings mounted at both waist and shoulder height, each rated at 30kgs load.
