Capable, reliable and highly fuel-efficient, like every Transit van. Comfortable, rewarding to drive and full of smart technology like a Ford car. That’s the Transit Courier.
The van’s compact size makes it highly manoeuvrable and with one of the best turning circles in its class, you can negotiate busy, narrow streets and tight parking spaces with ease.
But don’t be fooled by Transit Courier’s small appearance; a load area of up to 2.4cu.m** gives you up to 10% more load volume than other vehicles in the same class. Take the folding bulkhead with ‘fold and dive’ passenger seat option and you also get a class-leading load length of 2.59m..
And however many times you need to stop, it won’t often be for fuel. That’s because the award-winning 1.0L EcoBoost petrol engine, and advanced 1.5L and 1.6L Duratorq diesel engines, deliver outstanding fuel economy along with low emissions: from 3.7 L/100km (76.3 mpg) and as little as 96g/km with the Kombi 95PS 1.5L TDCi with Auto-Stop-Start and 100 km/h speed limiter.
Advanced technology options including rear view camera, parking distance sensors and Hill Start Assist, (along with many others), are there to make every journey as safe, easy and stress-free as possible. While state-of-the-art Ford SYNC with Voice Control frees you up by allowing you to make and receive phone calls hands-free. The system will even read your incoming text messages aloud.*
**Measured in accordance with ISO 3832 and VDA methodology with folding mesh bulkhead.

*Terms & Conditions:
This offer applies to new Transit units ordered by December 31st 2017 and registered by January 31st 2018. This offer applies to trade-in passenger commercial vehicles, which are taxed, and insured at the time of trade in and built prior to 2015. Qualifying vehicles must also have a valid NCT certificate at time of trade in.
Parking distance sensors help you judge the distance between your vehicle and obstacles behind you. When the sensors detect an object, they activate an audible warning that intensifies the closer you get to it.
Like every good workplace, your van is packed with smart storage. The deep centre console includes space for A4 files, so they’re always to hand. For added security, an underseat compartment holds a laptop safely out of view. Even the front door panels make great use of space including a 1.5 litre and 20 oz. bottle holder in each door, as well as a useful coin holder on the passenger side.
The Transit Courier has sensors that detect failing light at dusk, or when there’s a sudden change in light conditions. For example, if you enter a tunnel. This triggers the auto-headlights to turn themselves on, which can make driving both easier and safer. Auto-headlights are available as an option with rain-sensing wipers.
Hill Start Assist temporarily stops you rolling backwards or forwards when making a hill start. The system works by maintaining pressure to the braking system for an extra 2.5 seconds, giving you more time and control as you move your foot from brake pedal to accelerator. It’s also useful when you’re stopping and starting on slippery surfaces
A folding mesh bulkhead not only allows you to carry loads up to 2.59m long, it helps protect the driver from those loads as they sit on top of the folded passenger seat. The feature is available on Van models and includes the fold and dive front passenger seat.
Side-wall mounted tie-down points help keep the load floor clear and are both DIN and ISO compliant. There are also body side fixings mounted at both waist and shoulder height, each rated at 30kgs load.
