Space for everything and everyone

Transit Connect offers a choice of L1 short wheelbase or L2 long wheelbase, both with outstanding, flexible loadspace. Van versions are available with an ingenious load-through bulkhead that lets you securely carry items as long as 3m in the L1 and 3.4m in the L2. Both L1 and L2 can accommodate two Euro-pallets. Transit Connect is also available as Double Cab-in-Van and Kombi variants, capable of carrying up to 7 people in the L2 Kombi.

Transit Connect is packed with sophisticated technologies that help keep you safe on the road, connected when mobile and which help make your working day easier. 12V sockets, USB & Bluetooth connectivity, laptop and file stowage space, as well as SYNC with Voice Control (including the latest SYNC2 system with 6” colour touchscreen) which gives you voice control over several key functions including phone, audio, climate control and navigation.

An advanced system to help you stay in your lane

The optional Lane-Keeping System uses a forward-looking camera to detect if you’re unintentionally drifting out of lane. Lane Keeping Alert then warns you by vibrating the steering wheel and displaying a visual warning. If you're slow to react or don’t respond, Lane Keeping Aid can provide steering torque assistance to help guide you safely back into the right lane. The technology is designed for multi-lane roads (like motorways), so will automatically deactivate at speeds below 43mph (65 km/h) or can be turned off manually.

A highly efficient 1.0L EcoBoost petrol engine

The 1.0 litre 3-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine delivers 100PS and 170Nm of torque with a six-speed manual transmission. Combined with other fuel saving technologies such as Auto-Start-Stop, this award-winning engine gives you all the power you’d expect from a conventional 1.6 litre engine, but achieves CO₂ emissions of just 129g/km and fuel economy of just 5.6l/100km.

The latest hands-free technology

The optional Ford SYNC 2 with Voice Control and 6” colour Touchscreen provides intuitive control of several key functions including phone, audio, climate control and navigation via simple voice commands or touch. The system also enables you to play songs from a USB or MP3/iPod^®, or when you’re streaming music from a Bluetooth^®*-compatible phone, and can even read your incoming texts aloud.

Ford SYNC with Emergency Assistance: can call for help even if you can’t

An important and potentially life-saving part of the optional Ford SYNC is Emergency Assistance. In the unlikely event of an accident, where the airbag is deployed or the fuel-pump deactivated, the technology can automatically make a direct call to the Emergency Services for you. You can choose to stop the call, or talk to those services if you need to. Crucially, the system will supply vital information, such as your GPS coordinates, even if you are unconscious.*

*Ford Emergency Assistance operates in over 30 European countries. This feature works when paired with a compatible connected mobile phone that is with you when an airbag is deployed (excludes knee airbags) or a sensor that registers a crash deactivates the fuel pump. Now you can seat up to three in the cab

Transit Connect is available with a dual front passenger seat, enabling you to seat up to three people in a van. The centre seat can also be folded down to create a handy flat surface for writing or a laptop, and can flip up to reveal a useful storage area.
